Sitting tall and proud,
Wondering out loud,
Where is the normal, daily crowd?
Hello there, my little squirrel guest,
I'll share my food,
You need not ask.
Please leave a little food for me,
There's so much snow,
But water a-plenty, there will be!

Siblings
By: Krista
The brothers
And the sisters,
The ones you love.
Don’t be too upset at them,
If they do something wrong
Because one day they might be gone.
Don’t say you won’t miss them
Or that you want them gone,
Because one day,
You might have to say
“I wish I still had my siblings.”
Stars
By: Jamie
Twinkling bright, leading your way
Through the summer night
watching down on you till the morning light.
Sitting there, with a tender glow
All perfect in space
And their love for show!
St. Patrick's Day
by: Sarah, Sarah
Yay! It’s St. Patrick’s Day,
What tricks does St. Patrick have in store?
It seems like his amount of ideas is such a galore,
So there is never a bore,
He will probably make a mess
On your fancy new dress
Or throw your fancy new bow in the trash.
Who knows what he will do, he is St. Patrick
The biggest trickster of them all.
So find a four-leaf clover because his amount of tricks is tall.
He will probably throw out your daughter’s new doll.
So you better watch out because St. Patrick is finally out!

I Know a Bear
I know a bear name Larry
He lives in the prairie
I know he eats the berries
And he likes them more than dairy.
OH DEAR SLOTHS
Emma Sloths in tutus
Sloths dozing off
Sloths sleeping heavily like heavy eyed rocks
Sloths in hats eating day by day
Sloths in my heart, oh so far away
PIPING PLOVERS
Scurrying little feet are very hard to meet. Shy little birds and they might seem absurd, but their actions are just too sweet.

My Hero Pencil
She is old She cries and She is yellow and my #1
She is bold She flies She is mellow (although, is really a #2)

Are years, and we’re the thirsty flowers.
We drink up all the years,
And grow our graceful petals.
And one-by-one they fall out, but soon new ones will grow,
And generations of rain years are continuing to flow.
